Scholarships

Eligibility

The Diane K. Kline Memorial Scholarship Fund accepts applications from students who are legal residents of the United States and reside in the State of New Hampshire and are attending or have attended schools in SAU 2 and SAU 45 (Center Harbor, Meredith, Sandwich, Ashland, Moultonborough).

 

Applicants will be awarded scholarships based primarily on academic merit and other non-academic factors, such as community service, school activities and work experience.

Scholarship Application

You can download the application by clicking the black button below.  Please send completed forms to DKKMSF via postal mail or email. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year, however college scholarship deadlines are due the beginning of April (2024 deadline is April 13). 

Awarded Scholarships

DKKMSF has awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships since its establishment in 2010!

 

The first recipient of the DKKMSF was Patrick Welch from Center Harbor. He was awarded a full scholarship to the Aviation Career Education Academy during the summer of 2011.

Diane's Fund awarded $5000 in total scholarships for 2014 to local students. 

Additionally, the fund awarded $2000 in scholarships in 2015 and $5000 in scholarships for 2016. $7000 in scholarship aid was awarded in 2017. $6000 in scholarship aid was awarded in 2018.

$5000 in scholarship aid was awarded in 2019, $3000 in 2020, $6500 in 2021 and  $5000 in 2022 and 2023!  We are very proud!!

 

The 2023 scholars are Hannah Coleman of Meredith who will be attending Wheaton College at Norton, Massachusetts to study Childhood Development.  Ryan Finnegan of Moultonborough, NH will be attending Merrimack College at North Andover, Massachusetts. His major is undeclared. Abigail Bryant of Moultonborough, NH will be attending the University of New Hampshire at Durham, NH. Her studies will include Communication Sciences and Disorders. They each received a $1000 scholarship to help them on their way to future studies.
